The 2024 season of Internazionali d'Italia is enriched with another, very important partner.
This year Cannondale will in fact be alongside the most important Italian Cross Country circuit , which will thus be able to count on the collaboration of an excellent brand in the world MTB panorama.
Cannondale has always made constant research its strong point, year after year always seeking new innovations that lead it to differentiate itself from other companies - the same commitment that has driven the Internazionali d'Italia Series since its inception.
The American company also manages Cannondale Factory Racing , a team consistently among the top teams in the international rankings.
A perfect collaboration therefore, as Michele Mondini , coordinator of the circuit, says:
“For us it is a great victory to have brought home a collaboration with an international brand of Cannondale's level. This once again demonstrates the fact that Internazionali d'Italia wants to approach the world of MTB in the round, in a constant dialogue between the federation, companies, teams and riders. Runners must find a route suited to their characteristics, teams must find a good calendar to allow their athletes to compete at their best. This is why it is essential for us to be able to count on the relationship with Cannondale, thanks to whose support we will be able to have top-level athletes at the start."
An example of the goodness of this synergy is the presence of two Cannondale Factory Racing athletes in Esanatoglia, the second stage of the Internazionali d'Italia Series.
In fact, Simon Andreassen and Charlie Aldridge will not only be among the athletes at the start of the Elite category, but will arrive in the Marche village already in the first days of this week to better view the route and to train among the many paths that that wonderful area offers.
As Phil Dixon - Performance Director of CFR explains: " Cannondale will support the rapid growth of the Internazionali d'Italia Series in 2024, which boosts beautiful locations and fantastic tracks for MTB racing. The CFR team has a long history of racing in the Internazionali d'Italia circuit, with great results and memories. We are excited about this partnership. The CFR team will begin this week with a training camp in Esanatoglia to prepare for the World Cup season leading to the second round of the legendary Italian series ."
